Three days on the road

Halifax is a LONG way away. Here in Virginia, we think that Boston is the end of the continent, but you could drive all the way up there and be not even half way to Halifax. We took three days to drive back. This let us make lots of stops so Kiva could get some exercise and sniff new stuff. Linda and I did all the driving. Ellen sat in the back with her puppy the whole way, about 20 hours in the car. He was a fine traveler.

Halfway home, we stopped to visit my cousin Charlotte Small, her husband Dale, and two poodles. It was a wonderful break for all of us, including Kiva. Charlotte and Dale are both good company. It's too bad they live out there beyond the end of the continent, so we never see them.
