I was sorry to stop here, but I needed to change maps and eat the lunch I had packed. I was sorry because a) I had to descend down into the bumps (and then climb back through them later), and b) because the airport is surrounded by a vast forest with no place to land, and c) because the airport itself is down in the trees. Indeed, the trees, being so close to the runway, made the wind quite gnarly both on landing and takeoff. I won't be returning.
