Front Royal, where I keep my trike, is right in the middle of the Great Appalachian Valley that extends from Lake Champlain on the Canadian border to Mississippi. (See

On this trip, I explored the valley a hundred miles north. The occasion was a trike fly-in near Dillsburg, PA. Andreas Weiss and I flew our trikes up there on Saturday. On Sunday, I meandered my way home down the valley, taking these pictures.
