The trike fly-in was something of a pick-up deal. Virginia trike instructor Terri Sipantzi put out the word that he and his Lynchburg friends were looking for a trike-friendly airport where they could trailer in, set up, and fly locally. (This is his trike.) The people at the Shreveport North airfield have just the ticket. They host several fly-ins during the year. The word spread, and we had about 12 trikes. The Jersey shore trikers came, as did three from Massachusetts! (6 hours) Four of us came from Northern Virginia, plus two friends in airplanes. It was a great success.
