Lots of kids

This is Aubrey (orange shirt), Greg (beard), and 1-year-old daughter Rue in front of their 43-foot Gulfstar ketch Tenalach.

Talking to the people was as much fun as looking at the boats. So many stories! But also an amazing community. Everyone talked about how they know their neighbors and hang out together. They organize overnight raft-ups and trips. And if your boat doesn't go, bring some beer and come on mine. We cast off at 11:30 sharp.

With 96 liveaboard boats, the Gangplank is the largest liveaboard community in the middle Atlantic states, they say.

(The pink flamingo identifies the boat as being open for the tour. Cute.)
