Sailboat, cruiser, houseboat, barge. Take your pick. But as you go down that list, the vessel becomes less boat and more house. Linda and I still prefer the houseboats.

This was not on the tour, but struck us as ideal. The main deck is all on one level, which makes it easy to get around. The front door and ramp give direct entry.

By contrast, the cruisers were all multi-level. Lots of climbing, though the view from their high-up salons was great.
