My trike has no enclosure of any kind, so I have an amazing view. Oddly, I don't find it scary. I get scared looking over the parapet of a tall building, but this is somehow different.

Visible at the top is the bottom edge of my SPOT device. It's talking to a satellite every five minutes. Linda can see where I am at any time on Google Maps. It also has buttons that send her messages: "I'm taking off" or "I'm back on the ground safe and sound." As any recreational pilot will tell you, your first job is to keep your spouse happy with your hobby. SPOT does it.
