The Pulpit with new paraglider ramp
The two roof-like structures are platforms for launching hang gliders. The large flat area between them (new since I'd last been here in 2002) is for paragliders. They need room to spread out their parachutes before takeoff. Most of the club's launch sites are mere slits in the trees. The Pulpit is lavish.
