This is the plateau north of Dolly Sods. It has been extensively cleared for some purpose, with many roads. As these offer many landing sites, we didn't have to fly as high as I had planned. Flying lower was both easier and more fun as the view is better.

Notice the Mt. Storm generating station far to the north.
