We're an hour and forty minutes and 80 miles from Front Royal. Not long and not far, but a world apart. It was 90 degrees in Virginia, 75 here. The air is clearer and that meadow smells lovely. The key is the extra 2,500 feet in altitude. At 3,210 feet, this is the highest airport in West Virginia.
