Flights began on the Monday and ended the next Friday. By then, roads into the back country had been opened. It makes no sense to ship supplies by air if you can do it by 18-wheeler.
This is an impressive record for an operation that just popped into being in 3 days and then blinked out again a week later. I'm so proud to have been part of it.
